Dr. Marlow Ball

Owner, DVM

Dr. Ball has been a small animal veterinarian for over 6 years. She has practiced general medicine and surgery and emergency medicine. Dr. Ball has a special interest in developing personal relationships with her clients and believes deeply in the importance of pain management and early interventions to prolong our pet's quality of life. Dr. Ball also feels strongly about reducing fear and stress to our pets and this is clear in the way she handles each animal and is the foundation for the start of this housecall practice.

Dr. Ball graduated from vet school at LSU in 2010 but still calls those hogs since she attended University of Arkansas where she received her bachelors in Animal Science.

Dr. Ball is married with a 10 year old son,8 month old son, 2 dogs and 2 cats. When not working she enjoys hiking trips to Jasper, Arkansas with her family (pets included). Dr. Ball is passionate about dog bite prevention and in her free time gives talks to local schools about dog safety for children.

JoEllen Laws

Veterinarian Assistant

JoEllen has been a veterinarian assistant for 25 years. She has been involved with all aspects of pet care including annual exams, emergency care, assistant for surgeries, boarding, and client interactions. JoEllen has a strong customer service background and strives to develop trust and confidence with the relationships she develops. JoEllen is a very compassionate professional  with extensive experience in the day to day operations of a small animal practice. She has spent the better part of 2 decades leading, managing, mentoring, and teaching co workers how to become an asset to the veterinary profession.

JoEllen is married with a 14 year old son, 12 year old daughter, and two step sons age 15 and 8. When not working, JoEllen enjoys spending her time with friends and family.
